how do u take dash apart for gauges?

how do u take dash apart for gauges?

does anybody know how to take your dash apart so i can put the chrome gauges on?

Pretty simple.. Remove screws for the steering console, take apart casing, lower steering wheel all the way down, remove 2 screws for gauge cluster, remove gauge cluster, disconnect harnesses.
You're in business.

All u need is a philips screwdriver.

Yeah, you need a relatively small phillips to unscrew the in-cabin microfilter, or the temperature sensor, whatever the hell it is on the right side of the gauges, the tiny little vent thing. It's a biatch screwing back in.

vent?? i took mine apart... there were 5 screws total, and it popped right out, no vent anywhere...

hey kloogy, if ur 2k2 is not that different from the 2k-2k1's.. i can help you put them in. It wasn't that hard to do, just kind of a hassle to take off all the clips behind the cluster
