H&R springs ruining struts?
H&R springs ruining struts?
I have H&R springs. When I first put them on, my ride was noticably rougher (2 years ago or so), but not the bone jarring hit I feel now when running over a good bump or hole. Handling is great, but big hits just are not absorbed properly. I feel that the lowering of the car may have caused premature failure of the struts. Do you all agree?
Do I need to get some Tokico's??

struts are probably shot- mine are shot now without lowering the car- tokiko blues are the way to go for the money
coming from a lowered MX6 I'm considering never
lowering my Max- I hated my daily commutes

So I just put modified KYB AGX's on the front after the pounding drove me nuts. I had stock shocks with H&R's for over a year till they finally gave out. After the install I wish I would have done it a while ago. The car rides great with this combo. Also these shocks are adjustable all the way around.
For me its's a great combo.

Do you think the cost of the struts is justified? After a year of Eibachs + Houston roads, I'm to the point where my soul gets rattled everytime I go somewhere.
