LSD tranny vs tranny rebuild

maybe by summer my tranny may die on me witht he movement in axles its showing (bad seals? bearings? u guys know what i'm talking about). I'm debating between getting it fixed and just buying/finding an LSD tranny and putting it in.

Benefits and cons:

LSD - better tranny with braking and stuff but i'll more than likely find one with descent mileage and who knows when it may go out on me

REBUILT - same ol same ol but it will be basically like new

i'm thinking price ranges shouldnt be that far off, maybe 50-100 difference...if i looked hard enough? what would u guys do?
