Removed Upper Intake Manifold *pics*

Well I got my intake manifold off, and at 127,000 miles its pretty dang clean (I wonder if the 2 cans of seafoam I ran threw it when I first bought it helped?). Most of the pictures make the runners look alot darker than they really are.
During the process I broke a wrench because I was using it go gain leverage, stupid 'cheapo' wrench.

5spd Variable Intake:

Lower Intake Manifold

"throttle body neck" (this is the part that connects to the throttle body)

Now I'm not sure If I want to put my automatic manifold on for abit and port it or just let the car sit for a few days and just port the 5spd one then install it all at once. I would like to ohm my injectors though and need to borrow a friends volt meter thing a ma bob (I just forgot the actual name) to do so. It's cold outside, so thats why I havent started tinkering around with the die grinder yet.

I never really use those wrenches anyway, but it was part of a big socket set that I got for christmas last year (and I'm in PST, so I really do mean last year). I like them because the Rachet Wrenches are like snapons I dont really like Craftsmen's rachet wrenches, but thats about it. The warrenty would be really handy (these have a lifetime warrenty aswell, but we bought them at costso, so I would probably have to deal with the manufacture and pay shipping, too much hassle.

Someone needs to stop me, I feel like taking the rest of it apart... even though I already know what it all looks like (spare motor in the garage).

If it were me I'd just go ahead with the 5spd intake. I'd send the injectors out to be serviced while I was working on the manifold. Turn around time is usually 2-3 days plus shipping. That gives you plenty of time to port the intake.

If the knock sensor hasn't been changed I'd do that while I'm almost there as well.

shoult- thats some really good advice, but I'm going to be stupid this time around and skip the knock sensor (dont really want to play around with the coolant pipe). However now that you mention it, I'm going to try and ohm it to make sure its still with in spec.

For getting the injectors cleaned, I'm just going to ohm them and test them then decide which ones to use (my current ones should be fine, but still).
