I'm looking into this kit (including the piggyback nitrous ECU), and I'm trying to figure out what kind of power I will be making. I went through the dynos, but didn't find an exact 65 shot dyno. I found one 60 shot dyno at 218/269 and a 70 shot dyno at 228/282. At least for the 70 shot, the car was running rich, which would lower numbers. Since the JWT ECU will be especially tuned for a 65 shot, and the a/f ratio should be perfect, I would think my car would make around 230/290. I would also get an exhaust cutout which would probably help out a good amount with the nitrous.

What do you guys think? How much would the JWT nitrous piggyback help out with power? Reliability?

 

I haven't seen a 65 shot on a maxima on the dyno yet. However I did see a JWT 50 shot se-r on the dyno and it made that much power at the wheels. I'd expect a JWT n2o kit to add around 55-65whp to the baseline.

 

Do you know if they can make the ECU for any shot? What about changing the shot down the line?
I've tried calling JWT the last couple days, but nobody every picks up. Is this normal for them?

 

I believe for the maxima they have a 65 and 100 shot program. The 100 shot will require 370cc injectors though. Now I've heard of some people running race gas and bumping the 100 to 125 shot with some success.

 

I'm starting to realize that a shot with slicks is going to be worse on my car than expected. Do they have a 50 shot system?
