I had the same problem. about a month ago I was trying to order her $500 fiberglass skyline kit. I called and talked to her and she said that she was waiting for them to get through customs and would call me back by the end of the week. well, after that week came and went without any response from her, I began sending her emails at redlinemax.com. I seriously sent about ten of them in the course of the week. then i started calling the phone number with no luck. I finally gave up. This all happened about 3 weeks ago so i am surprised noone has still heard from her. I hope shes ok, she sounded like a nice woman over the phone. If anyone does hear from her let me know because im still interested in buying stuff of her.

She's around. She's been helping her mom. She told me she was going to be there today. She's a stand up girl as I've done much business with her and her company. Just keep calling. She's just been VERY busy.

I'm still alive!

Hi everyone! I'm here...

I might not be around, but I'm still alive. Aside from working non-stop, my website has been down and I haven't had the time to do anything else.

Regarding any sales questions or issues, You can contact asiaducati@yahoo.com to answer ALL of your questions. The site will be up no later than Thursday of this week. I apologize for not getting back to everyone, I'm not trying to screw anyone. If I am not available, I have someone to take care of you. Again, I apologize for being MIA. Don't worry, I'll be back soon.

STAY AWAY FROM REDLINEMAX!!!!
its nothing but a huge con artist @ work!!
i have gone through 2 carbonfiberhoods!!!
first one dimpled up like a ****! looked like someones face with bad acne.
second hood has gotten worse, she made this hood with a metal and plastic latch..... great combo...forcing A METAL latch onto a plastic molded latch
guess what..after only 2 months the plastic molded latch snapped off.
i contacted ange to exchange to hood and told me in sorter words to f-myself.
what kinda business women is this? amatuers @ work...
i have proof and heres the email..

SHE WRITES

Will- I have not been at the shop since Thanksgiving or spent much time on Maxima related business since then.

There is no lifetime warranty for the carbonfiber hood. We already swapped the hood out with your supervision and consent. There is not much I can do in terms of replacing the product again. As you know, carbonfiber hoods are just like any other aftermarket products out there, they aren't meant to handle the wear and tear of daily use.. that's why every aftermarket manufacturer (from small operation like Redlinemax.com to Cattman, Stillen to multi-million dollar companies like Greddy) and online retailers all have disclaimer statement against product defects and its purpose as 'off road use only'.

I hope you understand.

Sincerely,

Ange

so i've wasted 400 bux on a CF hood with hoodpins and install, and her products fails...once again and now she claims no holds bars....??

you will never see my business there ever again, dont mind me if i fling this hood @ your shop one of these days!!!!

I got one item in! My Momo streering wheel but they sent in the wrong adapter or no hub adapter. The thing is I found out after I left my car at the shop to install it and get some other work done, they called me when I was like 3 hour's away on the road for work and said they can't install it because it's the wrong adapter. This was my long awaited B-day present since Dec. 15! I was dying to see it on my car so I can finally send inb some pictures. Now it's in my trunk and I'm waiting for the hub adapter from someone else because there is no one at redlinemax.com to answer your calls!!!! Also I still have my HID's in the closet because I'm still waiting on the delivery Cifero group deel !! I gave $175.00 in the form of a money order to her and now nada. Here is a stupid question, do you guy's think I got screwed over on the Cifero's??

Um guys, calm down.

Ange has be a regular here for many years and has sold her stuff to tons of people. I have to say she has MUCH better customer service than Custom or even Southwest to a degree.

I bought most recently a set of bulbs for my interior and some *** stole it out of my mailbox while I was away on a rotation. So Ange just told me she'll send me a set free of charge. That is good customer service.

i'm sure there are others. Plus, over the phone she told me the whole story about why she's been AWOL. PLEASE give her a break. She's very nice! She's had a LOT on her plate recently with her family's restaurant.

So bottom line, I think it was just a speed bump in the road. She'll get back to normal as she catches up.

we are talking about a few hundred dollars here.

not some $5 bulbs

Ive seen Will's hoods, and both of them werent of the quality I would expect for the price. I only paid $50 more for mine from FI and the quality after 2 years is better than his brand new one.

Yeah you could keep giving him new ones, why not stop selling them and fix the product? I would keep trying till you get a refund Will.

As far as Ange being busy and dealing with family stuff, thats understandable. But to sell something and then not stand behind it is a bad way to do things, it was already replaced once so Im sure you felt the need then to replace it why not now? (why not use the "off road use only excuse " the first time?) We aren't talking about Stillen or anyone else here if you sold the hood you put your name on it and in a way stood behind it. It was good enought to sell but I guess not to last?

And just for the record, I would have confidence buying from her regardless of what the minority...read <2% of her total customers have to say about her. Poll the crowd and you'll see what I mean!

ok fair enough. I'm glad you finally qualified your statement. I have never bought one offs/homemade stuff from her so I can't comment.

If my business is as shady as you say, I would not have gone out of my way and spend money out of my own pocket to replace a defective hood. I didn't do that because I don't have anything else better to do. I did that out of customer service. However, I am not about to replace another hood because it broke. I would investigate that further but no one else has their hood broken like the way you described it. I cannot keep replacing your hood because one thing or another happens to it (as I've already done that once). Before installing the replacement hood, I asked that you (and Izzy) to fully inspect the integrity of the hood and you were fully satisfied and gave the green light to install the hood.

I have no control over what you do with the hood or how you take care of your hood once your car leaves my shop. If your belt shreds on the s/c.. please let me know if/when Stillen/Vortech replaces your s/c (or belt for that matter) with a new one.

This is the only post I will put on this thread. I don't want to keep going back and forth with your issue here. You have my number(s), I'm back at the shop now. Give me a call at your leisure.

Sincerely,
Ange

on the very first cefiro deal, i got one reflector that was broken. I sent it out to her and she replaced it free of charge. It did take a little while for a new one to come in from overseas, but she took care of it as fast as she could.

I did not want to believe anyone could have a bad experience at redlinemax. Im not at all pleased with my hood or having to post this. My hood was pretty bad but rather than going through the trouble of sending it back, thought I could make it do.

I had smear like scratches on the right top side of the hood, and some chips on the edges. (it came like this) Later when I had it installed (by a professional Custom Body Shop of 20 years) we were not happy about the poor fitment. The shop did their best.

I would have probably lived with the hood and the poor quality (reason i didnt say anything until now), but later when the latch broke, that was it for me. I cannot recommended this carbon fiber hood to the maxima community.

We tried to reach an agreement on what they could do about it, but had no luck.

More photos can be seen at: redline max cf hood

There are also other members I have talked with that agree with the negative reviews but havent responsed on the org. It is my opinion that if you do not want to cheapen the look of your maxima with a below average product you should look elsewhere.

that looks like shyt and its a shame they wouldnt do anything about it, I hate dealing w/ companys over the phone. Instead of replacing one hood for you they lost a ton of other sales b/c now Im sure no one will buy through them. Sorry to hear about your hood Ceasar, thanks for letting us know how it is!!!!!!!

The claim 'perfect fitment' is made by consumers all over the US, not
just RedlineMax. If you'd like, I can give you a list of well over 50 Maxima
owners with the same hood you currently have as reference. For the 5
who had 'defective' hoods, we communicated with those individuals and
promptly replaced the product as soon as we could. We offer you the same
opportunity the moment you first contacted me about this problem.

What we cannot do is replace a hood or issue refund without having the hood returned and inspected by our manufacturer as a 'defective' product.

Bottom point is, we cannot issue you a refund/exchange or credit and let you keep the hood as you suggested.

Sincerely,
Angela Liu

sorry to hear a lot of u had these problems with the hood. I've purchased many things from Ange and she has always sent me my items VERY promptly. I remember she was gone for a long time family business and she even made a post about this when she came back. Redlinemax has incredible prices and always comes with new items. For christ sakes they have the best front bumper in the market (best style IMO).

Let us not forget what Ange and her company have done for this community.

BTW, Goldenglory, sorry you had these issues but how the heck do u expect to get a refund back for your hood when you already sold it? No one nor their mother would give you your money back when you cant even give the product back.

I've dealt with AnGe for a while now, put parts on my buddies cars and mine. I've put parts on cars upwards of a year ago with no problems at all. Ange has been great to work with, and always available to me when ever I needed her through no only email but AIM and phone. I really doubt that stillen or anyone else I have done business with would hook you up with another free hood after they have already done it once. Ange has been nothing but good to me and everyone I work for or with. When it comes to parts, customer service and friendliness she is second to no one I have ever worked with.

I have dealt with Ange a number of times and I have always had a good experience... I think it was fair that she replaced the hood once, I dont really know of many places that would replace it twice.... She really has done allot for the maxima community. Im sorry to hear that some people arent happy with her service but you hear this kind of feedback from lots of people in here regarding lots of companies that sell maxima equipment.

ok, i am the one that bought the 2nd hood from goldenglory, i must say that hood was in bad condition when i got a hold of it, yes the latch was broken, and the sides did buckel up, i have the pics to show the sides, i called ange at her shop and i explained to her that i had bought the hood off goldenglory and expalined to her what was going on with the hood from my point of view, she told me one day when im free go by and let her take a look, so i drove into brooklyn and she saww what had happened and i pointed some "bubbles" in the clear coat and the buckeling on the sides, she told me that when Goldenglory left the shop the hood was not that way and no way she would let her customer leave with a screwed up hood, i personally think the hood was starting to buckel from tight fitment of the hood pins and extreme heat produced by GoldenGlory's SC engine.... dont get me wrong im not on anyones side here i am friends with will and a customer to Ange who i have become friends with.... she provides customer service online during the day and phone that she is willing to talk over and will even allow me to go to the shop and talk about products. After a accident i got into a few months ago the hood was damaged and the insurance company paid for a new hood and i went right to ange and she sold me a new hood that we both inspected b4 the sale. i had the hood put on by the body shop and they even sadi that the fitment was pretty good for an aftermarket part. i installed the hood pins and have been driving around for around a month now and no signs of problems. there are pictures of the hood on my cardomain site i can post more pics in a few months

***sorry if i didnt use paragraphs just started typing

well, my hood was shipped to the body shop my car was in in a cardboard box. nothing to pretect it from it being dropped or anything. So, when the bodyshop opened the box and took it out it looked like someone had set it in the middle of a the street and a car had run over it. so i had to wait another week for just a new hood to come in. the hood was installed by a professional body shop but the hood was still bowed up in the middle. me and a friend fixed some of that 'bowing' by installing hood pins. but the hood still didn't look as good as it does in the pictures on her site. there are stains in the hood under the clearcoat and it has some fisheyes. overall I am not impressed at all with this hood. after having seen pictures of the one from importfan.com I wish I would've waited a little while before i got the hood. my car is in the body shop at the moment but I will post some pictures of it as soon as it gets out.

Importfan (aka GTP) and RedlineMax ALL contracted the same factory overseas to produce the carbonfiber hoods for us. Every company will deny this for one reason or another. If you put a GTP hood next to RedlineMax hood, it is identical and undeniable. Please don't tell me RedlineMax hood is better or worse than a GTP doublesided Maxima cf hood unless you have physically compared and contrasted the hoods in person (and not based on website images).

The only cf hood that is different from GTP/Importfan and RedlineMax is that of VIS and FiberImages. We sell their hoods for other applications so we know this for a fact.

Same goes for the Red/Clear taillamps that both Custommaxima and I sell.. it's the EXACT same product when placed side by side.. identical. Both companies has no relation with each other, but the taillamps are contracted from the same factory overseas.

Thank you,
Angela Liu

I have delt with Ange and RedlineMax many of times. Everytime was better than the last. She put a lot of time, and effort into her job, which isnt easy, especially with helping out her family. From me she deserves an A+.
I dont know the situation at hand in detail, but not everybody will be happy all the time. Trust me, I work with people all day. Ange said that she went out of her way to shell out the money to replace the hood the first time. Thats great customer service. If someone wants a refund, the product should be returned at the same time.
Not to get off the subject, but Ange also sets up the best meets, ever. I'm sure that the people that are jumping all over her will show up to. She also does it LEGALLY. She looks out for everyone that has to travel make it worth their time to go, and not last an hour. Who else would shell out money for a permit for a meet that she might not get back if nobody shows up? Im sorry to get off track here, but to me Ange and her company does the best all around job!

Damn, Im kinda scared now. I purchased my hood shortly after Ceaser did.
My hood did have some slight fitment issues, and its not perfectly smooth but overall im ok with it.
Fitment will always be an issue with aftermarket parts.
As far as customer service goes, I'll stand by Ange. She was very helpfull when I ordered my hood. Stayed in constant contact, emailed me and called me.
As far as warrantying her products, I feel a single replacment should have been suffice and its only fair to expect to send back the damaged product.
I only hope, if for some reason I have an issue with my hood as far as the latch breaking or it bubbling and chipping she would do the same for me.

I also have had no problems with Ange or her company, They are all honest, respectful, and make sure they keep up with what they say.
I will go back there if i need anything else for any of my cars.

My 2 cents.

People need to recognize that it's not RedlineMax's fault if you get a product that turns out defective. Ange doesn't make most of the products she sells; as she's explained, she gets them from various aftermarket manufacturers. If it turns out that one or more of these products has a high incidence of defects, then it would be her responsibility to stop carrying that product. It doesn't sound at all like that's the case.

What's most absurd to me is those here who expect her to give a refund without even returning the product in question. I understand that you are upset about the defect and its appearance on your car, but don't blame her.

I had a recent experience with Ange that left me very happy with her customer service. I ordered red/clear tails (at a price well below any other vendor's) and they arrived quickly. Unfortunately, one had a minor but noticeable defect. I called up Ange and she sent me a replacement promptly. (I of course returned the defective part. Simple concept, people.) She is a pleasure to work with. I would much rather do business with a small company like hers than a place like CustomMaxima.

GoldenGlory, you ought to be banned for making such immature and unreasonable complaints and demands. Please stay away from Maxima.org and quit slandering Ange. Go drive your TL.

who had 'defective' hoods, we communicated with those individuals and
promptly replaced the product as soon as we could. We offer you the same
opportunity the moment you first contacted me about this problem.

What we cannot do is replace a hood or issue refund without having the hood returned and inspected by our manufacturer as a 'defective' product.

Bottom point is, we cannot issue you a refund/exchange or credit and let you keep the hood as you suggested.

bring your 50 maximas..i can care less. i called you asap when that latch broke..and you told me you couldnt help me, you already replaced the first one.
blah blah blah... save it. not only did you charge me another labor fee to install it when the hood turned to crap afte you sold it to me but because i didnt have it installed @ your place...then you wanna mouth off i wanted to keep the hood and want a refund. save it. dont even try to flip the story here get it right.
i came to you asap when that latch broke and you told me no i cant help you.
to late now...james wrecked that hood.

Bottom point is your business is shady, and you'll see how the other hoods will start to fall apart.

its clear that you made a mold of the hood and used a CF wall paper and clear-coated it. bootleg hoods...

YOU CAN ASK ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN BOTH MY HOODS THAT IT WAS SHADY.

LB,HOGAN ,IZZY, JAYSON, TOYLET, CLIVE ,C-MAC , JEFF FROM MAX TUNING

you business is 'DEFECTIVE'

Masaccio - so you are telling me after I have already invested 580 dollars in this hood, that I should pay 100 dollars to have it uninstalled, pay 180 dollars to ship it to redlinemax, pay another 180 dollars to have another one of these hoods shipped back to me, pay another 100 dollars to have it installed again ? there are very few people in my situation that has that kind of money and this is redlinemax's policy.

580+100+180+180+100 = $1140.00 dollars

that was the only choice we were given on a cf hood that was in used condition when it arrived in my opinion. we were not taken care of and were flexable.
