[ you have to tap it from the oil sending unit located near the oil pan.. but you need a special t adapter.. take out the oil sending unit . put the adapter then you put the oil unit on one side and the hose on the other.

Yes sir, sorry... I was in a one track state of mind when I wrote that, seemed like everyone would know what I was talking about.

I'm looking for people who have tapped the oil pan to recieve an oil return line from a turbo...

Thanks...

Sorry man, but my digital camera is not working... My tap is in the upper oilpan facing forward. The drill whole is about 1 or 1 1/4 inches. We also re-enforce the whole from the outside of the upper oil-pan, giving it strength. The walls of the upper-oil pan is very thin. You may want to do this, up to you?

I used a brass 90 degree elbow with teflon tape. The elbow is also turn at about 2 O'clock in the direction of the turbo drain. Then the drain hose runs from the elbow to the turbo drain fitting. If m camera was working I would post a pic...

It WAS 6AN, it is now 8AN.

10AN is what I should have used.

WOW!!! 10AN is small for an oil drain... 8AN is definately bad to have as a drain. You would want something far less restictive when it comes to draining oil back into the sump... The whole in the upper oilpan needs to be about
1 - 1 1/4 inches.

Id like for you to go to the store and see the size of a 10AN line. 8AN line is fine. 10AN is very huge.

Most turbo applications I have seen use 8 AN lines. A few Supra's and RX7's I have seen run 12 AN, but that is the biggest I personally have seen.
