I have a 04 Max SE 5AT Elite and it seems as if my headlights will not shut off sometimes even though I have it on auto. I set them to turn off after 30 seconds but sometimes they won't. My battery has already drained a couple of times and I now have to manually turn them off because I'm afraid they won't go off. Also my steering wheel and seat sometimes does not automatically adjust when I turn off the car and open the door. Does anyone else have this problem? I live in Chicago and this recently started to happen when it became very cold. Could the cold weather have something to do with this?

 

Take it in for service.

 

Maybe the sensor is dirty!

 

same problem with the lights. already had a dead battery from them not turning off. i set my time to 0 so that way i know there off. should have to do that with a brand new car.

 

Sounds pretty serious. Definitely take it in to the dealer to get looked @. Cold or not, that's not normal.

 

Take it to evanston Nissan.
