Pulls to the right - Brake
Pulls to the right - Brake
Anyone know how to test the power of a caliper?
The other day (thank god) I had to dump alot of speed and succeeded(brake hard). I noticed in the split second, that when I hit the brakes I pulled to the right/passenger. It sucked, because I also had to correct the wheel as I slammed the brakes. I replaced the pads and rotors in the front about 4 months ago, and notice no uneven wear. Is this normal to brake unevenly? I believe there are some oem re-seal kits available for the calipers. Any good? Would it equalize pressure on both sides if i did this? How hard is it to do it? Any write-ups? No brake fluid loss is apparent either.
Should I just replace both calipers and hope for the best next time I have to use the brakes? I'm hoping the brake seal kits would work...to save money. No tire screeching occured BTW ( no abs either). Anything I should look for? Maybe bleed 'em?

4. Restricted brake lines or hoses
5. Malfunctioning drum brake or caliper assembly
6. Loose suspension parts
