Whatsup? just got home from taking pics. Whew!! Today i got my angel eye kit and installed them. I wired them to my outer clearcorner light which flashes with the signals so the angel eyes flash also. Of course they both flash with the hazards. pretty nice, holla! If you want video of the lights in action let me know.

 

Looks Great!... did you want them to flash? Couldn't you have tapped into the corner lamp with the 194 bulb to prevent the flashing?

Listen everybody, its very important that you know, this was pretty tough and I had to destroy most of the headlight border and reglue with silicone but you see the end result. I dont think these lights were meant to be taken apart.

 

It also could be done by heating headlight in a cooking oven for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F or until the glue loosen (don't forget to remove any access components that may melt, including bulb and any attached wires). Be very careful when separating because the glue will stick to anything it can get a hold of. Think of hot melted cheese on a slice of pizza when you pull it apart.

As you pull apart the front cover from the headlight unit, cut/trim the cheesy web-like glue. Remember, pull a little and then trim a little, and repeat this step. Take your time and do it slowly. You have about 20 minutes before the glue harden. Plenty of time. As you trim, the glue will retract, and you can reuse the glue later when re-attaching the headlight back together.

By doing this, the plastic cover of the headlight wouldn't melt? I'm with giving it a shot but not to make a E36 cassarole with angel eye garnish on top! Just wanna make sure it's been done b4 and good experiences have came out of it b4 I f..k up and pout about why my mom's Kenmore smells like Castrol Syn-Tec

I got the lights from the classifieds and the angel eyes kit off Ebay.

 

do not put your headlights in the oven.
these bmw lights will not come apart with heat. i tried everything to get mine apart back in the summer. the lense backing will melt before the actual sealant will. you have the take your time and slowly cut away at the lense sealant.
