My friend has a 97 Grand Prix auto with CAI and straight racing pipes. I have a 99 SE-L auto with frankencar intake with apexi dry filter and soon to come a cattman y-pipe, oh im also cali spec. if that makes a difference. So who do you think will win? My friend thinks that his Grand Prix is all big and bad with his new CAI will I be able to shut him up?

 

Probly. I'm auto too and I raped an 03 bonneville non sc, which have the same engine as the prix and weigh about the same. My mods are also intake and y-pipe

 

I think you should be able to take him. Depends on how you drive. Your tire setup will have something to do with it.

Are you a 5spd or auto?

it'll be close. it really comes down to who gets a better start, and if ur a 5 spd, u should be able to take him

 

my friends have a 98 SE and a 97 grand prix gtp (supercharged). both cars at the time were completely stock and both are auto, and sadly enough the grand prix beat out the maxie, not by much tho, but winning is winning. if its not the supercharged prix tho the max should dominate

 

SC GPT auto beats a auto max.....5spd Max beats a SC GTP auto since that is all the cars come in.
