I am new to this maxima.org and i have been reading up a=on just about everything everyone is asking and answering.. So i figured I mide-as-well come part of this forum ASAP.. My question is that i wanna have 97 taillights on my 96 and i have looked at other 97's - 96's and well i think the only difference is that the trunk taillights are angled more.. I also wanna know if the 97 outer taillights would fit my 96.. and if i replaced the 96 trunk with the 97 trunk if that would help or if their are more things that are different other than the tailliights??

 

The 97 outer tailights will fit without a problem. For the inner taillghts you have get a 97 trunk lid.

 

From what I'm told you'd need to find the 97-99 Harness that goes into the taillights as they are different from the 95-96. If you look at the back of each taillight you'll see.
