How to change rear license plate bulb?

One of the license plate bulbs on the rear of my '97 SE went out. I want to replace it but there doesn't seem to be an easy way without pulling the whole housing down. The screws holding the "dome" over each bulb are completely corroded and I don't think I can loosen them.

What size bulb is it and is there another way?

You gotta take off those screws. I did it, its the only way. Worst comes to worst, cut them off and go to the nearest hardware store and get SS replacement screws

i would think it would be illegal, blue doesnt seem like it would reflect or illuminate the plate at all. therefore making it harder to read while the police are trying to write you a ticket

Thanks for the help. The screws are completely frozen in place and any attempt to unscrew them just buggers up the heads. Looks like I'll have to drill them out.

Anyone know how much it would cost to buy a new mount with the two bulbs/domes, bracket and wiring harness? New England winters have taken a toll on mine and it might be easier just to replace the whole damn thing.
