Arco Gas

I've noticed everytime I feel up my car with Arco gas it flies. It runs better than when I put gas from 76 or Mobil and etc. Anyone else? Or is car weird?

welcome to the club.... its a secret though and many members here will give you crap about it, which is rather stupid, seeing as my car and our durango is proof that Arco is good gas... lol.

FYI. I run the knock sensor resistor and 20* timing on my car and use 92 octane arco, no pinging, knocking, etc. I'm going to go try out 87 octane, I think I will be able to get away with it to. Davebond has the knock sensor resistor in, but as soon as he goes about 16* he starts pinging, he runs shell/texaco and chevron.

Just keep on using it, I do. It's cheaper than anything else and my car loves it. So do Magnum V8 Dodges with their combustion chamber design (it's shaped like a heart with the bottom tip of it is where the spark plug is). My dad's 2000 SE 5spd also only see's arco, although he cant really tell a difference, it's saving him money and the cashier guy at my Arco is cool.

Thanks MrGone. I thought I felt the difference when I used Arco but thought maybe I'm drunk.
You're right it's cheaper and its like putting a high octaine all the time. My Max flyes. This last time I put Chevron gas, and my car hesitates a little now. But I'm sure it'll go away.

YeeeeHaaaaaaa.......Arco rocks!!
