TINT advice on a Pearl White max

Hey guys I wanted to know what do you recommend for my 95 Pearly white SE?? My mommy , promised to pay for the tint, as soon as she gets her income tax, so I'm thinking going with titanuim tint, does its look good? ANyone with pics, I dont want black tint because I think there will be too much contrast. (I think) I like the reflective kind, even the mirrorish type. Show me some pics of your rides tinted, name the brand, degree of tint, and what kind it is, thanks alot.

I'd have to disagree with you. I love 20% black tint on white cars. I think mine looks good.

Can you see out them at night? I'll probably go 20% in the rear and 35% in the front 2 windows, but I know cops are going to pull me over for the front windows

I haven't had a problem yet with seeing out of them, and I've had it on for over a year. 35% is the legal limit here too, I've never had problems with cops, and I've been pulled over a few times with it on. If I could do it again, I'd stick with 20 up front and get 12% in the back. But thats just me

I can see out my windows at night, but backing up is hard. I usually roll down my window so that I can see behind me, but that's only when its pitchblack out with no streetlights.

Its awesome that your mom is paying! mine was $220!!! Lifetime warrenty tho...

BTW i have 5% front + back NO one can see in even at 12 noon

Yea the contrast makes it look real good. I have 5% in the back and the back windows and 20% on the front windows. When I bought the car it had the silver to black on it and it looked too tacky.

alright, you guys convinced me. Now the questions is should I go like 12% all around, or mix it up a little 12% here and 20% there? I would like to keep it all one shade the darker the better, but to dark is well too dark. Anyhow yeah my mom's is paying, its a very late Christmas gift. Either that or get my system hooked up, but I want to get more audio gear before I do that.(speakers, LCD screen, 1 ten inch speaker, etc....)

imo, mixed tinting looks funny. keep it 12 all around. be sure to roll windows down when cops come around =o)

i have 20 all around but i dont like that sunlight still shines through it.

try turning on your interior lights, the tints aren't as noticeable in the dark. plus rolling down all your windows with winter temp. sounds pretty fishy to me.

I got screwed $ wise, no other place had 5% I finally decided to just get it, they did a perfect job and I can take it back there if anything goes wrong. In the end I think it was worth it.

I disagree. See if you use a high quality metal tint you gain 3 major benifits. 1. looks cool 2. protects your interior by filtering out up to 95% of UV rays 3. a metal tint has a heat rejection factor, so if any of you foo's have black leather as I do, it means your car won't be as hot to get into in the summer.

Dude, what kind of wheels are those? I like your set-up...pretty much stock, but with a little bit done to it to look good. (i.e. wheels, tail lights (which I don't normally like because they are round on the 4th gen, but yours look good whited out like that), tint)
