Storm Blue vs. Deep Blue Pearl

A friend of mines and I recently gotten both of our '16 Maxima around the same time (mines a Platinum, his an SL) with both of us being Auburn fans I chose the Storm Blue and he chose the Deep Blue Pearl. So we got into an argument about which hue of blue was more appealing and I wanted to get the overall consensus from everyone on this forum. I chose the Storm Blue because it closely related the royal blue on the 7th Gen, but comically that's the same reason why he chose the Deep Blue Pearl.

While I think they both look great, I would go with Storm Blue, as it is darker and can look really dark grey or black at times, and I like that, lol.

From viewing pics on the Nissan site I really liked storm blue until I saw it in person. Not that it's bad, it's just darker in person, even under bright sunlight.

I then saw a blue pearl and decided right then, that's the color for me.

The Storm Blue and Bordeaux Black don't look anything like the pictures on the Nissan website! I don't know why they wouldn't show what those colors actually look like.

I've never seen a Storm Blue. So maybe it's cooler, but when my wife and I saw Deep Blue Pearl, we found our color. So far, my friends who saw the car say it looks so cool.
