Just got a 95 MAX SE

Hello everybody, I'm new to your site. I just got a 1995 Maxima SE today.
Its Pebble Beige and has a LOT of miles.. 172K. I got it cheap and needs some TLC. From what I understand, its overheating. But it just got a new water oump becuase it was overheating.. I reallly dont know yet... I will pick it up on Thursday. The owner told me he has the invoices of what he just had done at our local Nissan dealer. I'm really a DIE HARD Honda fan. I've had 7 hondas (2 accords, 1 crx, 4 civics, 3 of the them SI's) I still have a 2003 Civic Si, and 1989 CRX Si that I love, but I couldn't pass on this Maxima. I noticed that it needs a rear driver's side outer tail light, so, i f anybody has one that i can buy let me know. I will let you all know more when i pick it up. I look forward to learn about these great vehicles from all of you.

welcome!
make sure you read all the faq's and stickies, you'll learn a lot about your new ride. for the tail light, best bet is ebay or the for sale forum on here. explore the site, check out all the forums, check up on regional forums if you're interested in meeting people or looking for help on things. goodluck with your new max!

let us know if your water pump was replaced for the car overheating. I haven't seen that problem too much on the forum.

Welcome! Yeah definitely read those stickies at the top because I've saved myself from asking a lot of dumb questions there. haha. If you're thinking about doing any mods, I'm organizing a group deal right now for Warpspeed Y-Pipe $160 shipped. You can read around, but from what I've heard that's one of, if not THE best mods for the $. http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaPerformance
