it's hard to find red/clear for 95-96. even if someone is selling it, IMO it's not worth to spend $300+ just on a set of tailight.

if you really hate you stock amber and wants to change it to altezza. i say go for carbon fiber cuz it matches with black cars better.

Yeah, every time soomeone asks about which altezza to get, do you guys always have to tell him to go with red/clears? I mean, if he wants altezzas, what's wrong with it?

I would go with black chrome, I have them a my dark green max and I think it match well dark color cars

the ONLY way I would do altezza's is to do them with red lenses and then it would not matter what color they were inside.

Go with the CF ones. They match the black better cause they actually look black unless you are right up on them.

We usually RECOMMEND red/clears because it gives a cleaner look than the ricey altezzas (IMO)

But if any altezzas, it would have to be Gen II's

he has a 96... so gen 2s aren't an option

I like painted myself also, but if i had to choose between the 2 it would CF.

thanks for everyone's input...i've been leaning towards the cf ones for a while. i was hoping that maybe someone would manufacture the gen2's for our 95/96's, but it doesn't look like that's happening or else i'd go straight for those.

also, if red/clears were mass produced and sold at a decent price, then yes, i'd go with those. maybe if $300+ bills were pocket change for me, then i'd get them, but c'mon now...it doesn't take a genius to see that they're more overpriced than a bottle of water at woodstock. i really don't see why some of you guys absolutely loathe altezzas; they actually look really good on some cars i've seen on the org, especially black max's.

It's your car man, there are a lot of people that have the same cars that want to change the appearance of it, and for the most part everyone is different. Do want you want, you don't have to hop on the bandwagon (although red/clears are pretty cool). But I decided to just do the DTM, it doesn't cost anything but a little time and $3 for the paint. Much easier than forking over $130.
