Carbon Fiber HOod!?

I just got a double side carbon fiber hood from GTP (thx ~)

and they told me its not a wise choice to put the old mini shock that holds the hood since its made for the metal ...

and i was wondering if anyone put that on and have problems or try diffrent method?

any help is welcome

thanks,

RiCH

Just use the stick to hold the hood up, This will avoid any complications down the line.. and this method is cheap too..
