I think it will sound ricey, usually a aftermarket y pipe with any aftermarket muffler sounds ricey. If you go aftermarket y pipe you pretty much need a catback to get good sound if u wanna go aftermarket muffler.

i disagree with skiboarder. no your exhaust will not be to loud at all it'll be noticeable but nothign to loud and if you want it loud get a b pipe. my aftermarket muff sounds mean as hell.

The greddy sp2 catback is b-pipe and the muffler, so all you need is the Ypipe and the catback

Have you heard many setups? It all depends on the muffler man. Aftermarket catbacks can sound just as ricey (if not more) then just an aftermarket muffler. Anything cannister style will produce a higher pitch. Anything shapped like a stock muffler...say..Dynomax super turbos, flows, etc etc will not produce a ricey sound. They inherently produce deeper tones...

No, but i can get one up. I would need someone to host it. Unfortunately i have a leak at the rear B-pipe flange, so the sound isnt as it should be. Also, my car is down due to tranny problems, so i wont have it back till friday at the earliest...

When i get the car back, i'll do an idle, WOT in and out of the car run.

Also, im getting my flowmaster muffler installed soon, so i'll do the same for that setup as well...

it'll sound alright......i highly doubt it'll be really loud. get a CAI with that, it will make your car sound a lot nicer and more aggressive when you punch the gas.

I already have a CAI. I'm not looking for a loud sound. Just don't want it to be ricer raspy sound.

I recently got black flagged at Laguna for being too loud! They have a 92 db limit

Stillen B
Stillen Muffler
Stillen Y
Warpspeed Metallic Cat
Custom Intake
JWT ECU

= 93 DB max!!!

If you have a stock exhaust on right now. Any aftermarket catback will be loud.
If you are staying away from a soft ricer sound on an exhaust set up, stay away from:
budget y-----apexi' catback it sounds a little farty...you will have
to get use to it first.

I had my y pipe, stock b pipe and stillen muffler and it WAS loud, and then I got a b pipe, and it got even louder. But I dont know how the super turbo mufflers sound... so it will probably be quieter than my setup.

I always read that the dynomax's were quiet. My orignal plan ws warpspeed resonated b pipe plus dynomax, but now I'm thinking just dynomax since I odn't have enough money.
