Best place to buy a replacement axle?

While having my trans inspected, the guys at aamco found that i had a bad axle. it hasn't starting clicking or anything yet, but they said all the grease is gone from the boot. how much does these cost and where should i buy it from? also, what all do i need to buy? is it a set of parts or do i need to buy several individual pieces? thank you

Just tell them the year of the car then they'll ask you if you have ABS or not and if your car has an open or locking differential.

just check your dash on startup. if you have ABS, then the light will light up for a few seconds.

I dont know how much it is at raxles.com, but try this place http://catalog.overnightautoparts.co...mageField.y=14 just do a search in there, I think they got axles for like $70.

Raxles is the only place that uses NEW joints. Everywhere else uses remanufactured joints.

The passenger side axle I got from raxles was $125. But, they have brand new joints with precision fit boots and AMSoil synthetic grease.
