My tint needs to be redone bad, I know getting tint put on is fairly cheap, but Im gon have to pay to get it removed also, my moms hubby whos bacially my mechanic, lol, said he would do it for me. Is this a good idea? And what about the rear defrost what are the chances of him ruining it, I guess what Im saying is, is this a bad idea, is there a risk? Or just let him rip the ugly Shiat off?

 

rip that ugly shiznit off and replace it!!! your defroster will be A ok, mostly chemicals anyways

 

How exactly is he going to get it off? Whats he going to use? And hows the windows gonna look after its off? Normal?

 

yea they basically soak it in chemicals , and peel/scrape it all off, it can be a time consuming task but it will look normal when they are done and you have the option of re-applying another tint.............

yea when i first bought my car it had that purple tint and in the back was done in 2 pieces so you saw a line,drove me crazy lookin at it, i was so glad to get rid of it and go with limo 5% all the way around

 

its very easy to remove tint all u need to buy is a steamer like the ones they sell in k msrt oe walmart it the thing that suppose to get wrinkes out....a ll u have to do itput the hot steam against the window and peel it right off it will take about 15 minutes a window but u dont have to mess around with the glue... a razor blade will be help ful and windex
