Is it possible to change the button light colors on the non-auto climage control units (95 GXE) for feet, torso, defrost from the green and orange colors to a blue color. Is there little condoms on bulbs behind the buttons, or is the lense making the orange and green colors? Any writeups for this? Has anybody done this? I'm switching out colors on my interior to blue and would like to do this to match my newly reverse indeglo gauges. Thanks.

 

I just took mine apart to replace the blub that lights up the temp. indicator
(the blue-red part) and the back light on the a/c button.
it has LEDs. 4 green 1 orange thay are flat, not round. the lens is clear so you shoud be able to replace them with blue ones. radio shack???

Does anybody know if 5mm, 3.1 volt, 6000 mcd blue LEDs would work simular to the ones used in the link below for blue automatic window switches write up?
