My front breaks shudder when I slow from a high speed.

I just bought the car. The guy had all his service records on the car. He just had the breaks done, but then didn't turn or repace the rotors. What are some good rotors and breaks to get?

Thanks

If your BRAKES shudder, then its probably because the rotors are warped. I would suggest going to www.tirerack.com and seeing what they offer.

it could actually be many things.. ball joints, tie rod ends, warped rotors, wheel bearings, control arm bushings....
anything worn in the front suspension can cause that.

i have the exact same problem with my 90 mustang. i'm hoping its just the rudders, but if i brake from 90-60 quickly, the front of my car shakes violent as heck, change bounces and trim peices rattle. scared the crap out of me the first time it did that.

My brother had a problem with violent shaking after he had his brakes replaced, but his rotors were never turned when the brakes were changed. After he just turned his rotors and problem was solved.

I'm pretty sure its breaks. The rotors feel really rough. It the same feeling you get when you change a clutch and don't re surface the flywheel.
