While my car was at AAMCO, they told me I needed a new top auto trans mount and a side engine mount. So far I lucked out on the trans mount but don't know where to get the engine mount. would a junkyard be best or is online better? Also, how do these get broken? I did have an accident, could it have broken then?

why did they say you needed it? did they just see it or was it giving you a symptom like vibration or something?

 

didn't give me a reason. they just noticed it when they were working on my trans. They weren't trying to make money off of me or anything though cause they were going to let me bring a new one in and they'd install it for free. I don't notice any vibrations though. Only a horrible shudder when I take off from a stop, but thats do to my bad torque convertor i think.
