anyone ever chromed a stock 95/96 grill?

i remember someone painted their's silver a while back, i forget how i liked that. i know it's difficult and/or pricey to chrome plastic, but i'm sure it can be done or done in a cheaper alternative way. i was thinking of buying a spare grill from another member and removing the black plastic and trying to paint that chrome, but not sure how it would look. i also know a ri member painted his white which looked pretty good. i have also considered this but am not really sure if i'd want white.

i have also heard of some local person painting their grill and it came out horrible, but maybe he was an idiot and i didn't see it personally.

any opinions or comments?

i'm just bored and avoiding a 5 page paper so i figured i'd post. thanks

I have a 96' pearl white gle. I painted it white and am very pleased. Everyone thinks it is a aftermarket grill until they see it right up close. I took of the nissan emblem painted the black part white and then put the emblem back on.
Did this about a year and a half ago, still looks great.

It would look real nice. you should leave off da nissan burga on the front if you have da trunk shaved.

i was talking about front end, not the trunk, but alright. the trunk looks horrible with the nissan on it. i prefer just "maxima" or nothing on the back

i meant the black plastic part. not the part body color on the top and sides; the black honeycombish part.
