I got wood grain steering wheel but the leather is a little f*cked up. So is there any simple way to change the leather from my current steering wheel into the new one. Also does anybody know where I can find directions on who to replace the wheel. Thank you to everyone for or if any replies.

Why the f*ck would I need to cover up the wood? My question was how can I remove the "leather" or whatever the f*ck it is from on the sides of the wood steering wheel, and replace it with "leather" **** on my original wheel?

If the wheels are the same except for the wood on the other one you have, carefully cut the stitching, remove it, and cut it to fit the one with the wood grain appearance. Make sure the they are exactly the same size or you will have some trouble stretching it properly. You'll need to get a couple of big needles and the proper "upholstery thread" or whatever the proper term is and have fun. It'll take some time to get it right and your hands will hurt afterwards, but it wouldn't be impossible to do. It will just take some patience and ingenuity of you really want it.

I'm not sure about changing steering wheels, I have no clue how to change steering wheels with airbags. I don't think you can just simply pull it like you used to in the "old" days.

 

Go and pimp the electrical tape cover. yeah.

Anyways I would take it to an upholstry shop and have them re-do it...
