Will a 95 ecu give a CEL if intalled in a 96?

The 96 was made after 11/95 thanks for all your help

after 11/95 is the same as a 96 ecu. after means it was made after Nov. Of 1995. 95 would be after 11/94

What I meant to say is if the the ecu was made before 11/95 and the car was made after 11/95 will it give a CEL?. Thanks for your help in advance

I installed a 95 ECU on my 96 Max and the only Check Engine Code I get is the same one I got before taking out the stock ECU. So there shouldn't be any CEL if you switch to a 95 ECU (with same transmission as your car's of course)
