not tooo shabby..the lay is hard I am certain cause of the shape but it would look sweet painted on a white car I am sure...does it have any flex or give to it?...

you know the urethane properties are the selling point for Stillens...but the reproduction looks real good.,

well with drak green it still stands out a little, on black it point less to spend the extra money on CF because it looks normal.

How's your ground clearance...I looked at my car and was trying to picture it with a lip and I would have like a couple inches ground clearance

Ya, the cf looks real good on beige, but I would suggest you to get the clear bumper lights or maybe the jmd smoked clears cause the orange is kinda killing the lip's look. My 0.02

Well, what I think is that there are too many colors in front, car is beige, lip is cf, fog and heads are white, bumpers orange....it would match better with clear bumper lights to match the heads and fog, well that's what I think

No, it does not have any flex to it. Its just as firm as fiberglass, and brittle.\
With this lip you have to be carefull. If you bump it, it will crack.

I like mine on white, I wouldnt paint it. It makes it stand out more and gets noticed quick. A lot of other maxima drivers ask me where I got it and when it came out.

Lip looks good Alfonso, but I'm still glad I kept the 95 style for the new body work.

It's cheaper to buy the CF lip then buy the urethane one and get it painted.

CF lip: $350 shipped
Urethane:$210 + shipping.. but STILL have to get it painted. And any decent paint job is going to cost ATLEAST $150 on that lip.

So it's cheaper to buy the CF one. And they look just great on black cars.

And clear corners suck. Stick with orange.

I'm sorry, but i'm not a fan of the differnt color lip on the front. in my opinion. Nothing personal, just looks stupid IMO.

I understand it is a durable lightweight material, but I think people misuse it. Take for example carbon fiber hoods. Many today leave them unpainted because they want to flaunt that it is carbon fiber, and they've dropped the cash on it. Many would say "Why would you ever want to paint it?!" The whole idea of a carbon fiber hood is to lighten the vehicle for a better power/weight ratio, not something to "enhance" the look of your vehicle with. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking cf hoods, just stating my opinions)

Well said. I do not knock CF. But when using CF I believe it should be used to replace a part, not add to an existing part which doesnt help, adding is a form of uncle bens. A dash kit is a good example, you are not replacing anything, just adding extra weight to your car, sure you are adding CF, but it is still a addon and whatever bit it weighs is purely extra. A hood actually improves your car and makes it go faster. When I get a hood I will leave it unpainted for ONE reason. When you go to resale it, people will most likely not buy a painted CF hood for as much, plus what are the odds the person that buys it will have the same color paint as you, and CF can go on any car.

I'm replacing the stock stillen lip with a lighter one...So I don't think I'm misusing it.

I hear what you guys are saying about Cf being mainly used for the weight saving factors in order to increase overall perfromance but cmon guys, our cars are not some super import race car. if you were looking into getting parts for only the "racing" effect no one would have stereos, passenger/rear seats, interior,AC, 18' and up wheels....etc.
I personally like the look of CF.
The lip, wether Stillen or not, painted or CF is a cosmetic mod.
Same as red/clear tails, wheels, and any other kit.
As far as painting a CF hood or any other CF part goes, why paint the CF?
If you want lightweight and are going to paint it, why not get fiberglass.

flavor247 has the right idea.

if cf is rice. what about clears bumpers?????? what the hell purpose do those serve?????

that is all. all i have to say is i hope each person takes careful consideration as to how they set up their rides. and not throw stuff on just because. in my case i thought everything out carefully and ended up with a look to my car that i love and that is all that counts.

BTW im waiting for the mullet that took my pictures to e-mail the phuckers to me
