Hey i know that there has been a lot of recent threads on the reverse indiglo guages but i just wanted yalls opinion on how they looked. it was my understanding that they just go over the old guages? does this look ghetto? i have a 96 gle w/ the ugly black backed guages and i really want something different. so i just want to see what guages are the best for your money and the best looks thanx

i had reversed superwhite gauges for about 1 year. it was great gauges to drive around at nite but it didn't match with my interior neon setting, so now i have the EL guages.

close up on the gauges.

it isn't too hard if you follow maximadriver.com's instruction. aligning the aftermarket gauge face over the stock gauge face took me awhile because the needles was touching the aftermarket gauge face, which makes the needle unfunctional. (i still have that problem with my temp gauge). had to use some double sided tape to secure the gauge face, and used fingernail cutter and trim off the back of the needle so it won't touch the gauge face.

other than that, it's all bolt-on/bolt-off with some basic wire slicing...

they look great at night

I bought mine off of ebay for $16.00 last week

http://search.ebay.com/search/search...0&BasicSearch=

I used a small spread of silcone to hold my gauges on top of the stock gauges....
install instructions can be found here

http://www.maximadriver.com/modules....rder=0&thold=0

just tap in to the dimmer switches power and use one one the screws on the back of the instrument panel as your ground.
