anyone here with tokico blues? blown tokico blues in rear?
anyone here with tokico blues? blown tokico blues in rear?
i bought the tokico blue and tokico spring suspension kit from custommaxima - now i know the blues are supposed to be more of a stock ride shock - but the rear shgocks are horrible - the front end seems to handle and absorb bumps fine - but the rearhits bumps and i feel it sway across the ground a few inches - i also have caught some air (prob less then an inch of air) going over bumps - i can actually push down on the reaer of my car and can get it to hop off the ground with only 2 or three pusshes - and if i have a friend sit in the reaer of the car on one side my car will be lopp sided - does anyone seem to have this problem or know what it might be - please help - im having the shop that installed them take my car for a test drive tomo- i called custommax, because on the website it says the are a good combo, and he said he will check with his boss about it - he said the rear seals may be broken -but im wondering if anyone knows what the deal is - thanks
Yhea, I just replaced my weak Blues for GR-2's and the car is much more stable and the ride is much smoother in the rear.
Sorry, but I have to call BS that you can bounce the rear of your car and make it come off the ground.

flag is sky high.As far as the rest of your symptoms I have all the same on 2yr old rear tok blues that have been from stock springs --> eibachs --> ground controls slammed all the way --- --> eibachs again. Thats what it takes to blow them out they arent that bad just very bouncy......meaning push the trunk down and it comes back up then down then up then down again before settling. I'd bet the farm you got defects or a seriously F-ed up install....

M y car did this even worse when i took the rear bumper off. Then i had to put it back on. But without a dought the rear does skip around. I think it makes it worse when tire pressure is at 40 psi

I just removed my blues last weekend and yes they were real bouncy and my rear end has hopped around before.......but there is no way he is boucing the car off the ground by pushing on the bumper.
