Does Rockford fosgate have a warrenty on their subs? If so how long is it?

I just blew a 10" punch z sub that was only a couple of months old, I got it in the fall. I was running 120w to it but it is rated to handle 150w RMS... did it blow due to underpowering it... The sub blew out where the foam surround meets the center about halfway around the sub.. Could this be due to the cold weather, which may have weaked the foam or something? Could it be that I was playing it too loud yesterday(Up where it started to get distorted, I blame my friends in the car for that)? Any ideas why it would blow, maybe I installed it wrong but my other sub hasnt had any problems(and it's older), Maybe the box was too small... box is 0.65ft and the sub wants 0.75ft(but the other is in the same type box)...

you can try asking them. see if you can get it repaired or exchanged for a new one. RF has a 1 year warranty on all their speakers.

 

where did you buy it? Fosgate won't do anything for you if you didn't buy it from an authorized dealer.

 

I bought it from Best Buy... actually this one is the older one(Bought in July instead of October) but is still with in a year.. I just hope I can find the recept...Will it matter that the box is long gone.. or do I need that too?
