Thinking of taking the HID's out

Ya know, after about 7 months of Having HID's in my car, I can't really say that I am happy with them. Sure, they are rediculously bright, but what good is it if the light is not focused? I mean, It's like you have to aim them down to not offend oncoming traffic, (but you still do anyway) I don't remember the bulbs I got, But i know that they are D2R with 9004 connector, and the bulbs are supposedly matched to the focal point of the housing. But whatever, 9004 is just terrible. I feel like I bought these HID's to gain confidnece at night and it is the opposite- Dare I say I want my old brown bulbs back? Dilemas

try making some projectors like other members have. they seem to have been able to make a nice cutoff. or you could sell your hids and get the one piece cefiro headlights with the money.

and to think I just got new McCulloch 6000K HID's too... I hope they arent as bad as you say they are. Anything better than these "super white" bulbs I have now will make me happy.

You have the same kit as me. Ive had mine for roughly a month now, love em. I dont care that im giving off glare to oncoming traffic, SUVs and trucks do the same damage. Plus, I get a lot of looks with them. I guess thats just my opinion, I could care less that other people cant handle the glare.

I will admit, I bought my HID's because they look awesome, and waht about inspection time? I should ahve thought of all this before. Okay enough whining. BTW- I have to save for an engagement ring so there is no money for the max for a while, especially HID related
