20th anniversary headlight mod to 95-99??!!
has anyone done the 20th anniversary headlight mod thing....suggested on cheston's "how-to" section on the www.maximadriver.com? was this difficult? and do any of you who have done it, how'd it come out? any pics...please post...
it is a pretty easy mod...you can look at my website for a couple of pics that involved the process.
1.) take clearance light out.
2.) unscrew 2 screw on side of headlight and two nuts in the back.
3.) take headlight out and place in oven at 250 for about 15 mins.
4.) take out pry open and cover what you don't want painted.
5.) paint
6.) put back together and enjoy!

this mod isnt hard at all. it just takes patience. oh and when you put back the glass on the assembly, make sure the edges are completely sealed. kind of mush the glass back and forth to cover up any holes. at certain angles you can really tell that its been painted black but some you cant tell at all. but i love it. heres a pic of mine:
