The Mag-Light is a great idea. Useful for both illumination and defense. Much better idea than a gun, IMO.

Yall are nuts! LOL.......resorting to violence, haha, j/k

I also have a maglight in the car, but never had to even think bout using it on anyone yet, Im hoping you guys just use whatever on a carjacker and thats it, road rage aint even worth that, just slow up and let the ahole go.

ive got an aluminum bat in my trunk and a 2 AA battery maglight in my glovebox. hooya! you never know what can happen when you get to your car. oh and ive got a stuffed moose "strapped" in the back seat to ward off the intruders...

you all know about that "gun in the front, ammo in the trunk" thing right? cuz its illegal to have both in the front or the back. thats crazy to carry a gun around.. but where i live, a gun isnt necessary. a 6" blade is good but not a gun.

I'd be terrified if someone pulled out a AA maglight on me!

That law does not apply to pistols in NY...provided you have a permit

CA, both gun and ammo can be together as long as its in a locked container and magazine out.(glovebox doesnt count)

i've just got the stock lug wrench in the trunk, but i don't think it'd be any good for "protection" purposes... in case of road-rage i'd just chuck the worthless 'doughnut' spare at the guy

I may have a blade or two just incase but that's about it. Where I live i don't need a gun but some places that I go around around in the city it could be useful, but I just dont go there often. I dont need a gun, i've got a squad.
