Scraping off rear o2 sensor?

Well i replaced the o2 sensor when i got the cel light and i noticed it was acting up b/c the bottom was slightly scraped off. I put a new one in and now am getting the light again. I looked under my car and see that it is being scraped off again. Anything that iI could do to prevent this problem or a way to get around it, btw 95 maxima. Anyone else get this problem?

B&G, but what can i do to prevent this scraping b/c this o2 sensor stick down at a slight angle and gets scraped up, could it be the aftermarket cat was installed upsidedown or something?

That's unusual. The sensor shouldn't be the lowest part down there. My resonator, cat flanges, and the front support beam are all .5" lower than my sensor. Sounds like you've running over median's or similar - maybe just watch where you drive. Otherwise I suppose you could have an exhaust shop plug that hole and redrill/bung a new hole parallel to the ground instead of at an angle.

That sensor is way too low! It is very fragile. A stone will eventually hit it real soon. This O2 sensor installation cant be right. Mine points up, not down. (Hi Hi HI) Give it some viagra.
