I love my cattman.

 

i love my stillen .. had a busted flex section once but other than that a must mod.

 

i feel a stillen vs cattman coming up

 

looks like the cattmann would get better airflow

 

the cattman is the stainless steel looking one. stillen is ceramic coated. the cattman has a bigger flex section also. I dunno why the stillen on is all curvy

the fastest maximas on the org do not use this y-pipe.

 

if its turbo it won't use any of these y pipes and if its supercharged, it prolly has the w/s 3" full exhaust.

 

Cattman hands down, I rather go thru cattmans customer service vice stillens any day!

 

naw dude. you gotta find out...some people just have it out for them. I have one of the first y pipes they ever made on my 3rd gen, it has been about 3 years and it is still like new.

Nope WSP has been using lined flex sections since day one. No bees in a can here

 

Odd becuase when I rode in Dmontza 97 max, he mentioned that he had bees in a can sound.... i dunno...

 

Well I have the crappy 02 y pipe so Im not sure what might be different from the 4th gen y pipes. I rode im my buddy sloppymax 01 that had the cattman and he borrowed a lot of header wrap to cover the flex section b/c of the bees in a can noise. I never noticed it but the owner of the cars always notice things others can't. Just for reference his cattman pipe had the really short flex opposed to the one pictured. He replaced it with one he got from Dallas at WSP and now the noise is gone, except for a leak in the weld DOH!!!. Im just hoping that hotshot uses a lined flex so I dont have to hear buzzing when I get the headers on.

the stillen's is kinda of funky shaped

 

I like the idea of having a collector, but the stillen design looks a little more restrictive than the cattman IMO.

yeah, I told you it was from a rattling heat shield, but you insisted it was the Y pipe I can rattle my tail pipe and hear it coming from the mid to back area, I have yet to get under there and fix it cause I havent driven the car in 3 weeks dang problems.

 

Love my cattman, best sound I could possibly ask for with the Greddy SP

 

My cousin has had a stillen y pipe for 2 years now..

I have have had a Warspeed, then a Cattman and now a Budjet..

i busted the flex sections on the warpspeed and cattman.. budjet is holding up fine

my other cousin has a budjet and its fine also

 

I have a Cattman Y-Pipe since 2 years now and no bees in a can sound, no problem with the flex section either, look as good as day one. A+

i think the cattman looks like it flows better. the stillen is funky shaped and bends more in certain places. also the cattman has straighter piping, not sure if that matters though.

guys its a damn y pipe. both will give you very close to the same hp/tq gains.

your all just jealous becuase you overpaid and didn't get a budget.
