How to soup up a max!!!

I have a 96' Nissan Maxima Auto. I was thinking of getting a SC but I dont think my tranny will last that long. So my question is...what are the best mods to get that will overall increase my HP and performace. I want to get up around 225hp.

I think only a few people have reached 200+ hp NA.

5 speed conversion
MEVI + JWT ECU
Headers + Y Pipe and full exhaust of course
UDP
Def other stuff. If you're looking for quick 1/4 mile times, some carbon fiber items.

UDP will not increase the horse power on Auto tranny as much as it would on Mnual tranny.
Yeh Y-Pipe.
what you can do to make the tranny last a little longer if you go with SC .
you can get the VB mod and Tranny cooler, that would help it.

under drive pulley................... it goes on the passanger side of the crankshaft, its like 1 lbs compared to stock which is 6, u can get one at the GD from definitive at 120 with the belts.....i just got one and it should be comming in next week, they claim it FREES up hp which is about 5 to 6 hp. the y pipe from warpspeed is the on i got its also comming in next week...... that gives u around 20 hp..........here is the proof........

yea the valve body mod, makes ur tranny shift harder and faster.... and u can get a torque converter, which will help alot also.

youre gonna be VERY hard pressed to get to 225, even at the crank with an auto and no FI

no kidding, you might have to dish out some major cash to get to that amount of hp without FI.

if you wanna get a s/c you need a vb mod and a tranny cooler to not blow your tranny. much better off just doing a 5sp conversion IMO
