leather seat treatment
Wha tis the best way to protect your leather interior from damage, fading, cracking, yadda yadda yadda. I know there are a bunch of leather cleaning products out there, but I dont know of many treatment products. I hear saddle wax or something is a good thing to apply. keeps them soft and wont crack. If you know of a good way to protect you leather, let me know.
Hey. There is a Detail section that this should go under. Just letting you know for next time.
My suggestion would be Lexol. It comes in 2 bottles/stages of cleaning and conditioning. This stuff is awesome. This should be available at ur local parts store. I know at least pep boys has it.

I've heard that saddle wax is totally NOT the appropriate thing to be using on your leather I don't remember where I read it or why it's so bad, but just don't use it. Why take a chance.
+1 for the lexol, +1 for the detailing forum

Go to your local furniture store(Italian Leather sofa store) and buy their leather care products. To protect my leather i use harlem furniture cleaner and conditioner. I'm lucky I have an unlimited supply because I have a Leather sofa from Harlem Furniture and bought the leather care plan. :grinno

But now I'm lazy, I just give it a quick wipe down with a wet cloth, then do the leather conditioner treatment at night and let it soak into the leather until morning. Then do a final wipe. This way it gets the most amount of oil into the leather fibers.
Just be aware that there is alot of vinyl in the car that you may think is leather. Only the seating surfaces are leather. Stuff like the head rests, door pannels, arm rest, etc are vinyl. Use vinyl conditioner for those (I also use lexol for these).
