the one for the volkwagon is for their turbo'ed cars such as the 1.8T jetta. The chip changes boost settings on the car.

there is no "racing" chip for our cars

2k2-2k3 guys have the TS ECU with tuned fuel maps and extended rev limiter.
95-96 guys have jwt ECU with variable setups depending what you want
2k-2k1 guys are waiting for TS to prototype a ECU

Chips almost always have much more dramatic effects on turbos than on NA engines.

Nope you're wrong. They make chips not only for their turbo'd cars such as the VR6 and the 2.sl0w...I mean 2.0

Well, yeah but the gains are only that significant on the turbo model. Unless a car is very detuned from the factory, you won't get more than 10-15 hp from a reprogrammed ECU in NA applications.

if your talking about the ebay ones that give 50hp on a NA car, that is complete B.S.

there is no way and like i said already, none for the 2k-2k1

instead of a chip get an safc and just retune you air fuel ratios. might not make power but you'll be runnin meaner.
