took my max offroading...

For my enviromental biology we had to visit a waste treatment plant and then to a river where the treated water is released. the only way to get to the river was to take a dirt/gravel road that started at the treatment plant. most of my classmates were in the university van my teacher was driving but my friend and i were in my max. and for once i actually used the 4X4 effect maximas are known for. the massive holes hidden under the snow (we are talking about 18in of snow in SC and no i'm not a redneck) would have demolished my car if i was lowered. i kept apologizing to her for torturing her like this. i promised to clean her tues or wed. she handled well, only a few slip and slides in 2nd gear.

That's exactly the reason I haven't lowered mine....I drive into the mountains to ski alot, so I need the clearance!

Tell me more about the 4X4 effect that Maximas are known for. I've never heard that one before.

that was the only way to get to the field trip. nothing was mentioned of going to the river. i was just as suprised as the rest of the class when he told us that we were going to the river. believe me, i would not normally subject my maxima to such pain.

You mean you have a gravel driveway?

The clearance helps me out a lot, now I just need the rear anti-sway bar.
