yep yep yep, your boy mecca is moving up! First major install i ever did (maintenance wise) was change my oil. Then i fixed my damaged oil pan and reinstalled it myself. Now, mecca has new stopping shoes

^^^ top ones are new ones and bottom ones are old ones on driver side
my rotor must be f*cked up!

ahh, gotta love that leaky tranny

anyway, here is what i plan to do. Get new rotors (anyone know if ebay ones are any different than ones sold on here?), exhange my brake pads again so i have oens that wear evenly, replace shims and lube up the caliper pins. Plus paint calipers since i'll be working on all of them. Full day project for someone like me. what u guys think about ebay rotors?
i'm probably gonna go after automax's rotors (4 for 200 dollars) unless ebays are the same....
and what type u guys recommend?
slotted rotors will last longer than cross/drilled rotors. both will provide noticible stopping distance.
i have brembo x-drilled rotors front and rear, i can feel a difference in braking. ebay has them for a decent price.

most BBK required 17. and i see you have it...so therefore no problem.

Mecca needs some jack stands
I'd never leave my car up on that ****y jack!
As for the rotors/pads...I always get the cheapies at Autozone. Decent stuff, very inexpensive and you only have to buy them once (if you keep the reciepts)
I always wanted to try out Brembo blanks w/Raybestos QS pads...never got around to it, though.

Get your *** some jack stands, stupid!
Seriously, unless you're looking to lose a limb or at least break a bone, get some decent jack stands. They're around $25 for the pair at most auto places. AND PAINT THOSE CALIPERS!

haha, i have a big project coming up. changing all rotors, upgrading to ss lines and gonna try to paint calipers. pLus i'm returning pads for new ones so these new ones wear evenly. Only p*ssies use jack stands.
