Wrecked my Max

Well, it's been a while since I've posted on the board, but I guess it'll have to be bad news.

3 weeks ago I wrecked my Maxima completely. I was on my way to weekend drill for the National Guard early in the morning, and as I was passing a car on the right I hit some frozen slush and rammed into the car I was passing. I ricoched off of him, did a 180, hit the guy behind me, did another 180, hit the original car again, and then finally hit the car behind me again and ended up in the median.

I got very lucky, minor injuries (lots of back pain) and no blood. Had I hit the median 50 feet earlier, I would have hit guard rail. 50 feet forward was a deep gulley. All in all, I escaped.

Here's where it all sucks - my license was suspended 3 weeks prior for too many surchargeable events (uninspected car X 2, unregistered trailer, speeding X 3 and minor accident X 2 - all of which happened this last calendar year except the speeding) in a 5 year period. The cops were nice enough to not arrest me, but needless to say there's no way I'm going to even consider driving for a while. I have no court date as of yet. Also, my car was insured only to the bare minimum, so I get nothing at all. I recovered as many mods as I could, but my KYB/AGX and RSB are going to rot away in the junk yard.

Moral of the story - Get your damn inspection done, don't speed, and for the love of God get all the insurance you can!

The RSB? I'd love to if I had any way of getting at it...
