My Oxygen sensor frustration is OVER!
My Oxygen sensor frustration is OVER!
I changed 2 sensors and still kept getting codes. After weeks of searching and trying to figure out where the sensors were located, ordering sensors online, etc, I gave up and went to the dealer. It was a blown fuse. All of my frustration and it was a damn blown fuse.

What fuse was it? under the hood or in the car?
Well...
I pretty much bought sensors for nothing. I did change the correct one (p135 code, b1 sensor 1) but it kept throwing the code. The tech changed the fuse, and it blew. Then he checked all the connections on all sensors, took them out, put them back in, and the fuse didn't blow again. Sorry I forgot to ask which fuse he changed, but the dealer gave me a very detailed diagram of the sensor locations on a 99-200 Maxima with California emmisions, send me a private message with your email and I can send you a PDF of it.
