just bought a 2000 maxima, a couple questions
it has 60k miles and a couple minor problems. first off when i apply medium-hard pressure on the brakes the steering wheel vibrates. the car also leans to the left instead of driving center. im guessing an alignment is needed and i was wondering how much that should cost.
the second problem is a little odd. theres wind noise coming in from somewhere on the drivers side door but i cant figure out where. it seems like theres a gap in the rubber lining because my finger fits into it even when the door is shut and locked. is this a common problem, and if so how do i fix it
thanks

Hello, congrats on purchasing a maxima and welcome to maxima.org.
You may need some new rotors with your next brake job. I purchased my OEM replacement rotors at tirerack.com.
My older maxima has some weather striping missing from the drivers side door causing a wind noise that seems similar to what your explaining. Look at the thick rubber seal around the door for tears or missing pieces.
Good luck with your new car.
no big deal. rotors are only about 50 bux a pop at tirerack. also the TSB for wind noise recommends insulation tape, also very simple.
once these two minor problems are fixed the car should be ace.
since i dont have the manual, could someone please list the recommended service at 60k miles?
