Maxima Buying Question

Hi all I have a question for anyone out there that bought a new maxima a year after it was released and what you paid for it compared to what original msrp was? Also were there any rebates that you received or special offers?

The reason for this question is im debating on purchasing a used fully loaded 7th gen model next summer or purchase a new 2016 base model maxima So any input on that would be greatly appreciated.

(if i were to find a used one i would go for that but doubt ill see one with in a year of them being released)

Basically Im trying to spend at most 24,000 and right now the lowest I saw on a base model 2016 maxima was 29,000 but its only been out for a few months. Thanks for any input.

If I had 24K to spend next summer and had a choice between a year old 2016 S model or a 2 year old 2014 premium edition, and you could get either one for that price, I would choose the 2014. It has all the finer things in a nicely equipped car that I like where the 2016 S is pretty well basic.

2016 looks much nicer inside. outside about same. Power about same. CVT a lil better on the new.
2014 is just dirt cheap now, really really cheap.. if you don't care for difference in looks i say save a bundle.

Yeah, I'm just wondering if the 2016's will also drop a nice amount next summer as the 2017s start rolling on to dealership lots like the 2014's have done. I really like the technology in the newer models even at the base trim level but the most important thing to me is the price tag.

Possibly could just wait until I see used 2016 base models

Picked up a 2014 sv with nav and tech package(sv value package) last month, I got a total of 11k off the sticker spread out between the dealer, nissan and few other bonuses. I also traded in my base 2010 in which they stepped up and paid off since I was upside down. I leases this because the payments were substantially lower, however I'm willimg to bet if there's any left on the lots(new) you could get it for less and name your price.

I went to the dealer that day to test drive the 2016, which I loved but money wise wasn't in my price range as there were no rebates offered and they wouldn't budge a cent

If you don't mind me asking what was the sticker price? I appreciate your response.

Prem over Base

I have a 2010 prem loaded with every option and would not change a thing. Love all the toys. This is just me. But my choice would be to go with the fully loaded.
