ATTENTION STILLEN and Adam@Stillen!!
Its good to see that people from Stillen are actively communicating with the maxima.org community. I dont think ive ever seen that before. I would like to take this opportunity to ask a few questions that we all have been wondering.
Headers have been a topic of major discussion lately in the 5th gen forum. We now have three companies making headers for us: Stillen, Cattman, and Hotshot. The recent results with the HS headers have been absolutely amazing. I just read a thread with a before and after dyno where blubyu2k2 gained 17whp and 17wtq on dynojet over an aftermarket y-pipe. People have also seen good results with the Cattman headers. Brian Catts provided us with before and after dynos on his own car stock, which were impressive.
However, Stillen has not been able to provide the community with any dynos at all for your headers which you advertise as a 25hp gain, as I recall. Furthermore, everyone who has dyno'd there cars with these headers has lost power. How can this be? I was wondering if you could post the results from your testing of these headers that you base your advertising on. You cant really design headers and advertise a gain without serious flow testing and dyno testing so Im sure it wouldnt be too much trouble for you to post the results to reassure the maxima.org community of the quality of these headers. Thanks in advance.
BTW, there was a long thread about this that was recently un-stickied for some reason. Could someone with search access post a link to that thread here. Thanks.
