That's with a HUGE correction factor, but at low boost and untuned.

Also had the stock cat-back exhaust on (no excuses )

The correction factor is big, but correct due to the high elevation we have here in denver. The next day we had a skyline dyno'd and the correction factor went up from 1.21 to 1.24 (it was hotter out). Hopefully soon I can get the video of that on the site as well as the dyno.

I am hoping to get my DFMU installed tonight as well as my boost controller so I can dyno on Saturday!

Is it intercooled? What PSI are you running? The numbers seem kind of low.

That seems kind of lean to me too. I know on my 350Z I'm not above 12.0 when boost kicks in.

Do NOT SAE correct on FI cars, it WAY way overcompensates, since it's correcting for a NA car that doesn't have FI ramming in more air then the atomosphere can.

Your psi/hp is the same, since your turbo spins faster to make the SAME boost as somebody at sea level. You'll lose a little bit from the turbo spinning faster, since it's less efficient.

Your dyno won't be compareable IMO with SAE correction due to your extreme altitude. A small SAE correction for temperature would be okay, however at that altitude, no way a 1.2X CF is apples-to-apples with most of us.

Not bashing, just my .02 if you really want to be able to compare to other FI cars accurately.

Looking forward to a NEW dyno.

So should I post the non-corrected numbers then, or what correction should I use? I had no idea, it's just what they gave me.

Matt, I got the spark plugs in thanks. I had oil in one of the chabers though, that sucks.

I got the car re-dyno'd again today. VI is still not working. My boost controller was frustrating. Being the genious that I am, I just now realized that the car needs to be under load for the boost controller to re-learn the new boost setting (profec e-01). It kept spiking about a pound over what I was trying to hit (6 psi).

DFMU is installed and keeps the fuel where it should be although the curve is really choppy. I need to get the e-manage to smooth it out and keep me at 12:1. I was actually running rich throughout most of the run because at around 4300 it would lean out to much therefore lowering the entire curve.

Yes, the numbers are low and very frusterating. I am not intercooled at the moment, so It gets heat soaked pretty bad. ~5.5 psi stock spring and tried tuning at 6 psi. Also (SSR) what injectors specifically are you going to use?

The dyno will show it better, sorry for the long post. I guess I'll let you know what it put down when I figure out which correction factor I should be using (I would hate to overcompensate, I would like to use the correct numbers as well).

I'll post the dyno (SAE corrected) when I can so you can at least see the fuel curve.

what are you throwing the BS flag for (or to whom)

pimpjuice, since you're at such an extreme, you should use non-corrected numbers.

I'm 95% sure you can run RC or PE injectors for a 350Z. RC 440 or 550s run about $650ish with the connectors you have to splice on and they're a bit of forcing to get in. PE 380 or 510s are around $900 shipped, but DIRECTLY drop/plug in.

Thanks I might just have to try them out. Uncorrected is SAE 1.0 correct? So I just need to multiply my numbers by the .XX that's after the one for my correction factor.

First dyno: A whopping 229.29 hp and 236.28 ft/lbs (corrected 290/299)
Todays: 253.36 hp and 271.83 (corrected 347/372)

Does this take temp and humidity into consideration?

Divide your corrected number by the CF....ie 290/1.21 = 239.67.

So, UNCORRECTED numbers are:

FIRST dyno was 239.67whp/247.11wtq(CF=1.0)
Todays' dyno was 279.84whp/300wtq(CF=1.0)

Does this take temp and humidity into consideration?
Nope, however if you know the temperature/vapor pressure you can figure it out. Just use this calculator with 29.235in-Hg for the Absolute Pressure:

Correcting for only Air Temp and Vapor Pressure, ie ignoring Absolute pressure:

FIRST dyno was 234.40whp/241.67wtq(CF=0.978)
Todays' dyno was 283.20whp/303.6wtq(CF=1.012)
