i only know of one person having it...can't remember his username offhand...most of the CAI owners either went custom or have the place racing...i love my CAI...my opinion would be biased

I have it!!!

I was the first to have the VG CAI from Warpspeed, I think. I works great, and sounds great, but I have nothing to compare it to, as I had a stock airbox until then. I noticed a difference the first time I drove out of my driveway. The usual: better throttle response, about 5-7 more HP, good sound, etc. All the corners in the tubing is very round, mandrel bent I think they call it, so the air is moving at optimal cfm. I'm not sure how the Place Racing CAI is designed, but if the bends are crimped or too short, you will lose positive air flow. I put the Warpspeed y-pipe on also, much thanks to Dan and Dallas!!! Now I can almost keep up with the VE guys.

the PR is mandrel bent as well...i think we need to do some side by side comparison of the 2 on a dyno etc
