Anyone check their actual ground?

I checked my ground today and noticed the only metal to metal contact is the screw to the body. The actual metal plate touches paint. I scraped the paint from under it and noticed a little more responsiveness. I have a remote starterand every now & then it would crank over a couple of times before starting. It now starts very quick. I made a Hyper Ground kit and am about to go outside and install. Tomorrow morning will be the test, to see if I notice any difference. Will post results.
